Download and install
Tap Download for Android, open the file and allow your browser to install apps when Android asks. This is a one-time permission.
Choose VAST and enter your ID
Open GoLab, choose Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus (VAST) and enter your student ID starting with VAK.
Verify and you are in
Add your name, department and semester, then verify with a 6-digit email code or Continue with Google. Set a password and you are in.

Verified accounts
Every account is confirmed with an email code or Google. Only VAST student IDs can join.
Encrypted in transit
All traffic uses TLS 1.2 or 1.3. Passwords are stored only as salted bcrypt hashes.

Your email and phone are never shown to other students. Your feed and chats stay within VAST.

Who can use the app?
Every student of VAST Technical Campus with a student ID starting with VAK, and every teacher the college office has added. Each account is verified before it can be used.
Android says the app is from an unknown source. Is that safe?
Yes. The app is distributed directly by the college instead of the Play Store, so Android asks once for permission to install it. Compare the SHA-256 shown above with the downloaded file if you want to verify it.
I did not receive the 6-digit code.
Check your spam folder and wait a minute before tapping Resend. Codes expire after 10 minutes. You can also use Continue with Google instead.
My student ID is not accepted.
Type it exactly as on your ID card, starting with VAK, for example VAK23CS001. If it still does not work, contact the college office.
Is there an iPhone app?
The Android app is available now. Teachers and the college office can also use the web admin portal from any browser.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen tap Forgot password, enter your email and follow the code we send you.
